Everything you need to run Cricket well, in one page: getting started, how the daily loop works, what's free vs Pro, credits, corrections, languages, and the honest answers to the questions we get most.
Contents
1. Getting started
Open the app, paste your site's URL, and run it. In about a minute you'll have the whole picture: SEO and GEO audits of your real pages, your brand profile, a 30-day strategy, today's two fixes, and the first batch of drafts. The heavier agents fill in over the next minute or two — you'll see them complete live, and a summary lands in your email so it's safe to close the tab.
The best three minutes you can spend after the first run: open the day's SEO fix and paste it in, skim the strategy's messaging framework, and post the day's first X draft. Marketing happened — that's the habit the product is built around.
2. The daily loop
On Pro, the autopilot re-runs your site every morning: fresh audits (scores move as you ship fixes), a new article, the X pair, a LinkedIn post, newly discovered Reddit threads with reply drafts, and refreshed Search Console/GA4 numbers. Everything lands in the Content Calendar — one dated drop per day that accumulates, never overwrites — and each agent's pane shows today's work on top with the "Earlier" archive underneath. The morning email tells you what changed and hands you the day's single highest-impact fix.
3. The 2 daily fixes
Each day the SEO and GEO agents surface one fix apiece — the highest-impact open
item, with the exact steps and paste-ready snippets. Fixes are platform-aware:
if your site runs on a hosted platform that can't edit <head> tags
or root files, Cricket won't prescribe those — it offers what your platform actually
allows. Ship a fix, hit ↻ Verify my fixes (a free re-crawl), and watch the
score move. Tomorrow serves the next one.
4. Free vs Pro — and why pricing is per site
Free forever: the audits, brand profile, strategy, two daily fixes, the X agent's daily posts, the LinkedIn agent, and the live Google tabs. Pro unlocks everything that drafts and ships — articles, Reddit live threads, community plays, emails, reels/images, the citation monitor, the daily autopilot and publishing integrations.
Pro is $88/month per site ($55/month billed annually) — one subscription powers one site's daily engine. Paying for site A doesn't unlock site B — each project shows its own plan state, and you can run several sites with a subscription each. There's a 7-day refund guarantee (details), and canceling from Settings keeps Pro active until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting a project cancels its subscription immediately so nothing bills in the background. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
5. Credits
Pro isn't a metered maze — it's one monthly credit pool per site that only the expensive generative actions draw from: a full analysis run costs 50, a reel video 60, an image post 40, and extra daily live X posts beyond the included pair cost 1 each per run. The pool resets monthly; top-up packs never expire and are spent after the monthly pool. Your balance is always visible in the top bar, and running out never breaks the free features.
6. Connecting Google (free)
Settings → Integrations → Connect Google, sign in, approve the two read-only permissions (Search Console + Analytics), and you're back in the dashboard — the Search and Traffic tabs fill with your live data on the spot, and every future run refreshes it. If a tab says there's no data for the site, verify that exact property in Search Console (new sites take days to accrue data) — the tab tells you which case you're in. Disconnect any time; the tabs honestly empty out.
7. Correcting brand facts
If Cricket misreads your site — wrong audience, wrong competitor, a nuance only you know — open the Product Information document and hit ✏️ Correct brand facts. Your corrections are applied instantly to the current report and to every future run, and free-text notes ride along as context for every agent. Corrections never cost anything.
8. Languages
Cricket writes your report and drafts in your site's language automatically — a Korean site gets Korean strategy and drafts, a Spanish site Spanish. You can pin an output language in Settings → Preferences if you want something different from the auto-detected one.
9. Publishing & approvals
Every draft card carries the same controls: copy, an open/post link that takes the draft to its platform (a prefilled X composer, the exact Reddit thread — with your reply copied automatically — a LinkedIn share box), ↻ rewrite for a fresh take, and mark done, which files it into the ✓ done group. With X or WordPress connected, "⚡ post now" publishes that one item on your press. Nothing ever posts itself.
10. Troubleshooting
- A run seems slow. Big sites and busy engines can take a few extra minutes. The screen updates the moment it's ready — and the summary email means you can close the tab. If a run dies mid-flight, it restarts itself once, automatically.
- Hosted blogs (Naver, Tistory, etc.). Fully supported for analysis — and the fixes adapt to what the platform allows. Search Console can't verify a blog on the platform's own domain, so those tabs explain that instead of showing nothing.
- An agent shows an empty day. That's honesty, not breakage: if no Reddit thread cleared the relevance bar today, Cricket says so rather than padding the list. The daily loop keeps scanning.
- The report reads wrong. Use brand-facts corrections — they beat the extractor everywhere, permanently.
11. Your data
Short version: your content is never used to train AI models, integrations are read-only or click-to-publish, deleting a project removes its data and subscription, and deleting your account erases everything self-serve. The long versions live in Security and the privacy policy.
