About Cricket AI
Cricket exists because of an uncomfortable piece of math: most companies pay $12,000 a month — a hire, an agency, a writer, a social manager — for work that is, day to day, a repeatable loop. This is the story of the tool we built to run that loop for $88 — and the principles it runs on.
The problem we kept seeing
The marketing playbooks are real — SEO compounds, community presence compounds, showing up daily compounds — but executing them means paying salaries and retainers for what is mostly operating a routine: re-run the audit, write today's posts, find the threads, ship the fix, report the numbers. The first generation of AI tools didn't change the economics; they moved the work around. A writing assistant hands your team drafts to prompt, edit, fact-check and place. That's homework with better handwriting — on top of the same payroll.
Meanwhile the ground shifted: buyers started asking ChatGPT and Perplexity what to use, and a new kind of invisibility appeared — being absent from AI answers — that classic SEO dashboards don't even have a column for.
The bet
Cricket's bet is that the unit of value isn't a better draft — it's a finished day of marketing. So it inverts the model: instead of you operating a tool, a bench of agents operates on your site every morning and hands you completed work — the audit findings, the day's two highest-impact fixes with paste-ready snippets, the article, the X pair, the LinkedIn post, the real Reddit threads worth answering with the reply already drafted. The human job compresses to the only part that should ever be human: approve and ship — the judgment, not the labor. That's the part worth a salary. The rest is the loop, and the loop is what we automated.
What we refuse to do
- We never fabricate. If a signal can't be measured yet, the dashboard shows an honest empty state — not an invented score. A metric you can't trust is worse than no metric.
- We never auto-post. Every draft waits for your click. Your accounts, your name, your call — always.
- We never hide the sausage. Community reply drafts disclose that you work on your product. Undisclosed astroturf gets accounts banned and trust burned; we'd rather write a reply so useful the disclosure doesn't matter.
- We grade our own homework. The drafting agents are judged by an independent LLM evaluator for quality and platform-safety, and we publish what it finds — including when it finds problems.
Who builds this
Cricket AI is built by a small independent maker — and the product practices what it preaches: Cricket markets Cricket. We don't employ a marketing team; the agents are ours too. The daily drafts, the GEO checklist, the citation monitoring — we run all of it on this very site, and the pages you're reading follow the same playbook the product prescribes. Every rough edge in that loop cuts us before it cuts a customer.
Where we are
Young, shipping fast, and honest about both. The changelog is the real diary — audits, agents, integrations and a steady stream of fit-and- finish, most weeks daily. If you try Cricket and something feels off, tell us; a human reads every email and the fastest fixes have come straight from user notes.
